This policy explains what personal information Proviam collects through this website, why we collect it, and what your rights are. Proviam is the data controller for that information.
Who we are
Proviam is a strategy, growth and leadership consultancy operated by Gavin Peters. You can reach us at enquiries@proviam.co.uk or on 07714 416 986.
What we collect
We only collect information you choose to give us. If you complete the enquiry form on our Contact page, we collect:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your company name, if you provide it
- Your phone number, if you provide it
- The subject of your enquiry and the message you write
We do not use advertising networks, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics on this site, and we do not build profiles of visitors.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis

We will not send you marketing email unless you ask us to, and you can opt out at any time.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing. We do use trusted suppliers who process information on our behalf, under contract and only on our instructions. These are our website host, our email provider, and our accountants. Some may process data outside the UK; where that happens we rely on UK adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses.
We may also disclose information where we are required to by law.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to work are kept for up to 24 months, then deleted. Records relating to an engagement are kept for 7 years after the engagement ends, to meet our legal and accounting obligations.
How we protect it
Access to enquiry data is limited to Gavin Peters and anyone directly supporting an engagement. Our suppliers are chosen on the basis that they provide appropriate technical and organisational security measures.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- Ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- Ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete
- Ask us to delete your information
- Ask us to restrict how we use it
- Object to us using it on the basis of legitimate interests
- Ask us to transfer it to you or another provider
To exercise any of these, email enquiries@proviam.co.uk. We will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.
